After completing his undergraduate program at the University of Oregon, Dr. Massar continued his education at the Oregon Health Sciences Dental School. He graduated in 1975 with the distinction "Outstanding Senior Dental Student." In 1977, he received his Certificate of Orthodontics from the Oregon Health Sciences Center in Portland and set up his private practice in Beaverton.
Dr. Massar is active in a number of professional organizations including
the American Association of Orthodontists, Oregon State Society of
Orthodontists, American Dental Association and the Oregon Dental Association.
In 2001, Dr. Massar served as President of the Oregon State Society
of Orthodontists. He also donates his services to Dental Aid for Children
and to the National Foundation of Dentistry for the Handicapped.
Dr. Massar and his family live in Portland. Outside the office, they
enjoy travel and many outdoor activities, particularly bicycling,
water skiing and snow skiing. |
